My Refuge

It is easy to feel disconnected to this world. When the world will not cooperate or understand where you are coming from. At some point in life you might meet someone who makes you feel more connected to it. It is a blessing to have that. Feeling lost can be uncomfortable and even frightening. Meeting you and your family makes me feel more connected to this place we all live. Sometimes all of us need some connection or anchor so that we do not drift away into hopelessness. I guess it is just a sense of belonging and that I am where I am supposed to be at this place and time. I am not religious however I thank God for letting me cross paths with you and your family. It gives me more hope that people are not all just out for themselves. I do not know if the person I need to be with in my life will ever be there for me. Knowing you somehow makes me think I have a better chance to be with her. That is because a positive vision seems more within grasp if you are around others reaching for it and creating it.
