What a GREAT video!!
I have been a Rick Dancer fan for a long time. Will definiely be voting Yes in the election.
Thanks for the brief visit to the greatest 4th of July Parade in Oregon!
We’re looking forward to your service as Secretary of State.
One, Josh, I assume you put this video together, and it looks great. Way to go man, and Rick the way you interacted with those people was great. Wish I was there.
I encourage everyone to not only vote Yes, although Mr. Johnston that is amazing, but to also take some time, and tell a freind to do the same and spread the word because for this state to begin to “Dance away from polotics” we need Rick in the Secretary of States Office
I love this video and I love Rick Dancer!! He has a great heart, he’s always looking to help the people and not his own agenda!!
Curious to know who makes your videos…they are always so well done!!
Thannks you guys. It really was crazy. Dan and I haven’t seen each other in years. It was so nice that Kathy was in the parade with me so she could see Dan too. That afternoon we met up with Dan and his wife Cindy and some of their friends and did the “Hillsboro” talk. It was so great.
Actually Aaron Larsen our campaign manager shot and edited the video. Josh was busy driving the car and making sure we stayed in the parade rather than slipping back to the end. Josh is a great shooter and can edit well but this was Aaron’s work.
You have redeemed yourself, little brother! From no mention in the Forest Grove article to the ONLY mention in this video.
What a great video! I wish I could sit down and watch the whole thing with you as you tell me who everyone is as you hug them!
And the weather was much more cooperative than our 108 or so down here…
This is a spectacular video! I love it! And I’m thrilled that in the Harrisburg parade, where I was this 4th of July, there was a Rick Dancer float…that made my day! I got a little, okay maybe more than just a little, excited about it! Had my knee been fully functioning, it’s very possible I would’ve jumped up and joined in on the festivites…haha That’s just who I am.
Oh and by the way, Rick, I’ve got some designs and such in the works for you, but I’m leaving to be a camp counselor on Sunday morning til Friday night, I will do my best to send them your way soon! Hope you have an amazing weekend!

Dear Rick,
We were invited to the Hillsbouro Parade By Senator Smith, but were unable to make it due to my husband’s illness it would have been too much for him. Instead we went down to Centenial Park in Lake Oswego. There was quite a croud and I spent several hours passing out Flyers I had made copies of from some of yours I got at the Luncheon. Hope they will help. I can tell you this you can count on 2 votes Bob’s and mine. Also wanted to mention, you can put up yard signs at my address as well as we own a farm down in Harrisburg on Rt.99 where you can put up one of your bigger signs. Give me a call and I will explain where it is in detail.503-449-1984 is my cell and 503-635-5050 is the home phone.
Your supporter Joanne N. Balkovic,
President of the Lake Oswego Republican Women’s Club
P.S. I downloaded that flyer from the internet and passed them out at the Style Show as you had requested.
Joanne, Thanks so much. If you’d like to, go to the “How Can I Help” section on the front page and register. Let them know how you want to help and we’ll have everything we need. Again, thank you so much for doing that for us.
Great video and I love how I get to be the media interviewer, that video is featured on Cable access and ran in prime time along with all my parade footage after my Jeff Kropf show footage last Wednesday night(8p-9p) and will be running for the next three weeks in WA Cty area(Hillsboro, Bvtn, Tigard and L.O.) about three times a week.
Check out http://www.tvctv.org to get the schedule. Did you put this video up on youtube and could you get me a DVD copy of the video and I’ll put it on cable access as well.

Lisa, I’ll have Josh get that for you. He’s at our office next week. 606 0279. We’ll be in Eastern Oregon this week and find out what folks on that side of the mountains are concerned about. The idea here is to show you what we’re doing, so you can feel apart of it and to let you hear what others are concerned about as we travel around the state. Pretty simple stuff but real good communications.
Thanks, but there’s nothing here that tells me what you would do as our next Secretary of State. This is sort of a fluff piece, but it’s a nice one.
Thanks for visiting the site and checking out the video. We’re pretty proud of how it turned out. The whole “On the Trail” series, of which the 4th of July video was the second one produced, our goal is not to dive into the nitty-gritty details of Rick’s vision for the Secretary of State office. Rather, it is to let those interested, follow the campaign and be a part of this ride.
When Rick speaks at events, of which there are many, all he does is talk issues and content. There are several articles in newspapers across the state that speak to that.
Rick, how is life out on the Promise Ranch? It has been quite some time since we have spoken and I truely miss our morning book studies. I am now living in Medford Oregon and still working hard for AT&T. If there is anything I can do to help you on the campaign trail, just ask. You have been an inspiration to me and my life and I know you will make a great addition to our states leadership! feel free to call, or have one of your staff call, my numbers are 541-913-5001 and 541-326-6166. Both are mobile phones and will reach me any time. Hope your family is well and I hope to hear from you soon. God Bless,
Destin Snider
Great video! HIllsboro is foremost in my heart because my grandfather donated land for their library and park. His name was John W. Shute, and his twin daughters are still alive and, at 91 years young, still thriving. Good luck with the campaign!
