The UO Nike arena has two hearings(on my birthday-super lucky) at Eugene city hall 7-21-2008 at 7:30 pm in the council chamber 777 pearl . Expect absent media(refusing to notify public of their chance to testify-snakes) and half asleep city council(who published a RG article today detailing their love for Nike). Please send staff or an advisor to take notes if you can. The UO legal situation will likely get bigger and more complicated before long. CTV29 will record the hearing and replay it unedited later in case you can not make it. I will try to post airing times here in the future if anyone want to view the hearing.I beleive this may also face a referendum petition if the council approves the alley vacations. Alan Zelenka should resign over this arena fiasco he has engineered. In other news my life is great and it is good to see that you are making some noise and parading around the state!
