Haha I don't know...I guess I'm not that easy to forget...There aren't too many kids like me around. I'm still waiting for breakfast/brunch with you and Dustin...that'll be good times!

Sam, we won't be contacting you for a while. Once the Primary is over (Tuesday) the real planning begins. I won't forget you. How could I?

I think people are so used to those in the political world doing and saying certain things it's hard for all of us to get used to something different. It's like the hair thing. Does that really say who you are? No. To really understand people or ideas, instead of listening or looking for what you want, perhaps we should spend more time listening or looking for the things we haven't seen before.

Funny you post this today I have been dealing with the same thing with my boyfriend, fittingly nicknamed by co-workers "Caveman". His hair is insane...and the beard is pretty much ridiculous, and the more I say the more he doesn't cut it. Funny how that works huh? So I'm in the same boat...time to just leave it alone I guess.

Hope everything is going well. I've been contacted a few times from one of your campaign gooroos but all they ever say is..."Rick's going to contact you" or "did he contact you yet?". I find it pretty amusing. Well I guess just let me know if you need anything.

Ya know in alot of ways your boys are alot like you. The image does not matter much to them, and that is great. Who cares really what kind of hair cut you have, as long as the people that know you best love ya the way you are. It seems like in this election people have been trying to cut your hair in all sorts of ways rick. I admire the fact that you can go into a solidly Republican meeting, and speak of fairness and good ideas, not of the partisanship they want to hear from you. And then I admire the fact that you can meet with Liberal Democrats and not be afraid to say hey, I am a man of God. That is your hair cut. And any one who wants you to change your "image" because they might find it a little more electable simply does not get it.

Whether you have a mohawk, long shagy surfer hair, or a nack for pissing off both sides to find the common ground. Those things are you, and people should be electing you for you, and never trying to change that.
